Is the fruit-based diet sufficient to heal AND run marathons on?

Is the fruit-based, vegan diet via which I help people overcome colitis, Crohn’s and all other bowel and digestive maladies sufficient in calories, protein and other nutrients? Is it sustaining? It’s served me for 26+ years and some of my friends for as many as 32 years as well. Some are superb athletes; some are body builders; all are performing and feeling better than ever.
